Fredricah Gardner

President, Co-Founder, & Secretary

Introducing our President, Co-founder, and Secretary, Fredricah Gardner, a visionary leader bridging the realms of engineering excellence and the construction industry. Armed with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia University and an MBA from Grand Canyon University, she has honed her expertise as a distinguished project engineer in construction.

With a passion for inspiring youth to dream big, Fredricah Gardner embodies the spirit of possibility. She believes in empowering young minds to set audacious goals and embark on transformative journeys. Drawing from her rich STEM background, she is dedicated to showcasing the dynamic intersection of technology, innovation, and construction, encouraging the next generation to reach for the stars and achieve their aspirations. As our driving force, Fredricah Gardner exemplifies the extraordinary impact of combining education, professional acumen, and a steadfast commitment to guiding youth towards boundless success in Appalachia and beyond.

Andrew Morrison

Vice President, Co-Founder, & Treasurer

Meet our Vice President, Co-founder, and Treasurer, Andrew Morrison, a dedicated leader merging engineering expertise with a passion for nurturing young aspirations. Armed with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Physics from West Virginia University, he channels his knowledge into the construction industry as a Superintendent.

As a visionary, Andrew Morrison is not just building structures but forging pathways for the next generation. He ardently believes in empowering youth, offering guidance, and fostering determination in their journey toward success. With a career rooted in engineering and construction, he exemplifies the transformative potential of education and professional dedication. His commitment to inspiring young minds reflects a steadfast mission to guide and support the youth, aiding them in accomplishing their boldest goals. As a vital pillar of our foundation, Andrew Morrison champions a future where every young dreamer finds the encouragement and resources to flourish.

Wesley Felton

Chief of Development

Meet our Chief of Development, Wesley Felton, a strategic force with an academic foundation in Natural Gas & Petroleum Geophysics from West Virginia Wesleyan College. His expertise and skills in networking serve as a linchpin for our foundation's growth and success.

Wesley Felton brings a unique blend of expertise and networking prowess to our team. His education has equipped him with a deep understanding of the region's natural resources, while his exceptional networking skills form a crucial bridge between our foundation and the community. With a passion for fostering connections and driving development, he plays a pivotal role in expanding our reach, garnering support, and building partnerships critical to our mission's advancement.

As our Chief of Development, Wesley Felton is not just cultivating relationships; he is cultivating opportunities for growth and empowerment within Appalachia. His dedication ensures that our foundation continues to thrive, creating a lasting impact on the lives of the youth we serve.

A visionary leader with a deep-rooted connection to the Appalachian region. With a successful entrepreneurial journey, he brings invaluable expertise as a seasoned business owner in our community. Through innovative strategies and a steadfast commitment to the community, Judd Walther embodies the spirit of empowerment, dedicating his expertise to championing initiatives that uplift and transform the lives of our youth in Appalachia.

RYAN TAYLOR

Board Member

As a Pocahontas native, he started his journey after graduating high school by attending Wyotech Technical School, graduating with Automotive Technology training. Then moved on to the Oil and Gas industry, operating heavy equipment before moving on to pipeline construction inspection. After deciding to move back to Pocahontas County in 2015 he started a residential and commercial construction company, primarily focusing on custom homes.

As someone who has left Appalachia and returned, he has the foresight and experience to help the region’s youth achieve and sustain growth. Through his entrepreneurial and finance experience, as well as his unwavering commitment to quality and building relationships; he can shine light on how big our youth should think. With his help we feel we can build a teaching, coaching and support system; to not only help with scholarships but also to provide support within Appalachia that will last and continue to give back for generations to come. “Fear has the ability to kill more dreams than failure ever could” – Ryan Taylor
